Mike Martz is a lame duck OC and today proved it. It's his responsibility to have his offense prepared to play the game. He didn't......end of story. The defense shows up and plays every week and that's a tribute to their coaches. This offense is a tribute to Martz.
Our goose is cooked and as far as I'm concerned they should let hime go now and turn the offense off to Tice so we can see what we've got in him and whether or not he's the guy to take over. All I had to see was Martz calling a pass again on 4th and one after we recovered that fumble to know that the lousy bastard would go right back to the same old shit all over again.
And Nick, you don't have to a psychologist to spot tendencies and read people from their basic behavior. I actually think I've read Martz pretty well for a time and so have quite a few others. It's not all that hard when certain behavior repeats itself time and time again.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Soul u really asking me why we would go backwards lol. This is the bears offense we are talking about which historically moves backwards. With the crap talent we have on offense we are lucky to be a top 20 o and everyone can't wait for the next Ron turner yippee. All I'm saying becareful what your asking for. Many thought losing Rivera was no big deal well um we saw how that worked right?

I wish to see us invest in more talent on the OFFENSIVE side of the ball for a change. Martz was one of the last choices for OC as there weren't many takers. If we were to invest in the O there would be more suitors who would wish to come here.

I'm all for getting rid of him, but I do believe it'll be Tice who gets the job. Lovi doesn't strike me as a guy who is gonna give a young guy a chance. That, and he seems to stick with people he knows and have similar personalities with him...I don't see a Jeremy Bates getting an OC job under Lovie, I just don't see it
