what we learned Den/Chi
We had their ass, that's why we took the field. We knew what Denver was and we handed it to them. We had them beat and the coaches decided w/7 min's left to stop trying to score and not just hand the ball back to their O and let the clock run out. Think about that while you read the rest, the coaches decided w/7 min' left to stop trying to score and just run the clock out.
Bear O, still sucks. But looked better. Haine is not horrible, but not real good either. Bell and Barber are solid, but do not replace Forte. MBIII who could have been the hero, is now the Goat(along w/the coaches) by going out of bounds and then fumbling the ball(that's two weeks in a row when you consider he lined up offsides and cost us 7pts last week. Knox...shouldnt be resigned, he's just nothing special and is more drops and no fight then he is dynamic. Anyone still super high on Webb and Lance Louis? Lance cost us at least 2 false starts. Bell looked solid, why did we stop using him in the 4th and OT? Haine needs to make the easy throws, and he missed a few; but more then that when he does put it where it's supposed to be the WR's need to catch it; and that didn't happen a lot in the 1st half.
Bears D, played the Tesus to a stalemate all game; then when the O stopped playing to win, so did the Bears D. And they also cost us field position early on when they got a couple Roughing the Passer calls. They played tough throughout even though they got gassed early b/c of the thin air, the big tough running style they were facing and an inept O that kept them on the field.
Bears coaches, lets get back to that first paragragh, Haine not turning the ball over, RB;s and WR's not turning the ball over, the O has acutally almost seemed decent and w/7min's left we decided 10 points was enough to just decide to run 3 times punt and put the D back on the field? 7 min's? really. Luckily we stopped them. There was 5 min's left, again instead of trying to get a 1st we are happy to go 3 and out and kick again. D doesn't hold this time, we get the OSK, and decide w/ 2 min's left we again can just not go after a 1st down. Might have been right if it wasn't for MBIII, but still stupid not to be more agressive. then in OT, in that thin ass air, instead of going for a 56 yarder(Gould already proving he can hit it easy) we continue to get closer; why? That D is legit, our O is merely OK, and your FG team is legit..why keep the one part of your team that has already over achieved to get you to where you are and not go for the win?
This loss is mostly on the Coaches, the majoirty of the rest goes to MBIII and the vast minority goes to Haine and the D. What a sad and sick game. This is worse then the KC game b/c we should have won this one it was there for the taking and we shat ourselves.

we learned that there is no need for Cutler and Forte to play again in 2011.

Tebow is amazing. Ducking bastard.lol

If you think about it,Lovie has never displayed a "killer instinct",He is content to sit on a lead, and crawl into
a shell.
I still think the bears play not to lose, rather than to win outright.

I disagree, Tebow is very average, at best. He looks great when teams decide the game is over before the the times shows 00:00. Which is exactly what the bears decided. They thought that Tesus could not possibly score 2 x's in the final 5 min's if they merely changed everything they were doing in the 1st 3 and 1/2 qtrs and went from trying to move the ball and getting their O off the field to playing not to lose and straight prevent.

Ever notice he only does average in the fourth quarter when everyone goes into prevent defense? Any subpar QB could look like an all pro against a prevent defense.

Barber a bum
How many ways could he screw the bears today???

I agree could have been more aggressive with the play calling in the 4th

today, he screwed them last week too. Maybe Dallas knew what they were doing when they let him walk. I liked him as a 3rd down back, but I think you're seeing why he cannot replace Forte.
Btw, where are all those people talking about how MBIII/Bell can replace Forte? How many times has Forte cost us a game 2 weeks in a row w/3 huge mistakes?
and what about the OL that consistantly let pressure on our QB or false started putting us in impossibly long situations? Tice and leave w/Martz at the end of the season, I know he doesn't have a ton of talent, but Webb and Louis and Omi have all been failing lately. When they don't have Forte/Cutler to keep the pressure off them they look very below average.
Bennett had 0 catches...how many targets did he have; I don't think I saw any.
