I learned what the angelo drafts have proven over the years ... one step forward ... two steps back.

Two steps forward ... one step back. In the end it comes out as a draw.

There is genuine progression followed by head scratching not only in the drafts but F.A.

Someone explain Todd Collins ... Brandon Manumaleuna ... Orlando Pace ... Kevin Shaffer ... Dan LeFevour,

I mean the list of these players just makes you wonder as it goes on YEAR after YEAR.

On the other hand angelo comes up with CUTLER and then does nothing to protect him or to throw to.

It's like angelo thinks : "Oh Cutler by himself is going to solve everything."

You have to admit that the draft and F.A. acquistions have been very erratic.

It doesnt seem to make any sense to build a DOMINANT SuperBowl team around.

More like saving money and being cheap and throwing darts at a dart board.

However maybe thats what the McCaskys told him to do ... who knows?

One thing the McCaskys know ... is that like the Cubs ... they can fill seats and sell product.

Thats all you ever have to do to make money.

You NEVER have to be a winner ... in fact it works to the McCaskys advantage.

Because you can keep them coming back every year for more.

NEXT YEAR might be the YEAR !
