What we've learned about Jay Cutler
We've learned that Jay Cutler is an NFL Quarterback GENIUS.
He took a PATHETIC Offensive line and made them actually look like they were getting good. He proved that the REAL Offensive Genius on that bullshit excuse for a team, was NEVER Mike Martz....it was always Jay Cutler. If we lose Jay Cutler...we lose any chance we ever had at having any kind of Offense at all.
Hurry Back Jay!!!!!! .... :-)
... and Tell Martz To Go FK Himself.

Hanie, Enderle as back ups.....Is it too late to 'suck for luck' now?

Actually, what you learned about Jay is that... being the primary in this system for a couple of seasons, coupled with his experience as well as obtaining a very very high percentage of practice snaps and coaching guidance gives him an advantage over someone who had none of that.
While I agree that you need Jay back and the bears are a good team with him and have a very decent chance to go all the way....
.... "Genius" is a bit of a stretch. Even when he WAS playing, you could hardly use that word to define him.
There ARE some words you could use... resiliant, flexible, pliable, tough, stubborn, good, decent and maybe even great (at times).
But "Genius"? Nah, he hasn't even come close to proving that yet. Yet.

LOL! Well, the offensive line certainly does let him get tenderized, don't they?

As crappy of a situation as he's been in for the last 3yrs, I'm hoping that there's a silver lining to it all. As much smothering hell as he's been through, it's done some things to actually help him.
He's quicker at making his reads.
His reads are better.
His internal clock is sharper.
He has a better feel for the pocket.
He knows when to take off, when to throw it away, and when to just eat it.
He knows which throws he can make in certain situations.
His int's have gone down.
He's tougher.
He has more confidence.
All of which should make him a better QB in the years to come. I bet the best of Jay Cutler is yet to come.
( Imagine what could happen if he had a solid, reliable O-line and time to breathe )
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

I think if we replaced Jerry Angelo's brain with a head of cabbage we might have a slight chance of getting Jay a supporting cast.

This "Apocalypse Survival Course" that your OL has ran him thru for three years certainly helped.

zombie apocalypse that is. DL came after him like they were starving for brains and tried to crack his skull like a coconut.
