NOW you can't start the "Fire Angelo" chants
Martz, Angelo, Hanie. They all need to be on the last train to Clarkesville immediately. Now that I feel the Bears playoff chances are done (the Lions winning was pretty much a deathblow), we can start building for next year.
Extend Khalil Bell and Matt Forte, get rid of Barber. Get rid of all of our backup QBs and actually bring in a proven veteran. Donovan McNabb is an excellent option.
Bring in an offensive coordinator that can actually MAKE ADJUSTMENTS DURING THE GAME. One that doesn't have to have a disasterous game (or two...or three) to finally realize his offensive game-plan isn't working. One that never even heard of a 7 step drop and HAS heard of The Shotgun. One that realizes that protecting your QB is priority one. One that realizes that The BEST RECEIVER ON THE TEAM should be starting (seriously, does any team you've ever heard of do that?)
To tell you the truth, as much as I admire Lovie Smith and as much as an earthquake it would cause in the the locker room, I wouldn't mind seeing him go either. No, none of this is his fault. Well, his failure to fire Martz this season is his fault, but I'm talking about the Cutler injury. The Bears were a legit Super Bowl contender before Cutler got hurt. But Lovie had his time. He seems to have trouble doing what has to be done. He should've gotten rid of Martz earlier in the season. I'd just like to see what a Jeff Fisher or Bill Cowher can do with this team while Urlacher, Briggs and Peppers still have some gas in the tank.
But mostly just get rid of Martz, Angelo and the godawful Hanie. That kid should be deactivated for the rest of this season. He's AWFUL.
