BM is not worth both 3rds or a 2nd and 3rd.

There seems to be no easy solution to the draft this year. This season's collapse showed that this team has so many gaping holes that it could easily be confused with Swiss cheese.
I think the most likely candidate for a WR for us is Vincent Jackson, because if the Chargers aren't going to franchise him, it seems to me like they're cutting ties with him. Maybe it's because of his alleged doping from a year or two ago - I don't know. Whatever the case may be, he would certainly do well in Chicago.
Personally, I think it's a crap shoot as to which one you pick, though if you get VJax, you're going to get a 6'5" beast compared to Bowe being only 6'2". You have to weigh what you want I reckon.

Is it possible to get Mike Wallace?

I like V Jack but you have to consider he is one off field incident away from being suspended a whole year

Vincent Jackson is a 1 trick pony with a huge pricetag. Same with Mike Wallace. We don't need that here.
SIGN TERRELL OWENS and draft a couple good wideouts.
Even at his advanced age he is simply head and shoulders above what we've got here. At this point, what's the risk? Sign him for cheap and let him go if there's any issues, performance of or otherwise. Why Not?!?

Dwayne Bowe and Vincent Jackson are the two best wide receivers on the market, but they both offer two totally different elements to their game. Both are fast and run good routes, but the difference is in their height. While Bowe is younger than Jackson by about two to three years, he is *only* 6'2". Vincent Jackson is quickly coming upon his 30th birthday, but is also 6'5". Cutler has made it known that he wants a really big receiver, and I'm inclined to believe that he would like VJax more so than Bowe. What this may come down to is an issue of personal substance over production, for though VJax is bigger and perhaps more accomplished by dent of the extra years on his career, he also has the PED issue hanging over his head and could thus be considered a liability to the Bears. Perhaps, then, the Bears will pursue Bowe, and perhaps not. Who knows until the new GM is hired.

Marshall is better than all the available guys + he is a friend of Cutty + he has chemistry with Cutty + Cutty wants him badly.
VJax is a great guy, but we won't be the only team that wants him. Other than that Wallace and Bowe will get franchised or re-signed longterm.
But before all of this, we need to find a new GM soon.
Fact is that our OC and QB want a #1WR and not a guy like RWill.

I gotta agree with Ric. He's not worth it plus he's been a headache his whole career. Think Randy Moss plus. Miami gave up two high 2nds for him and probably wouldn't trade him anyway and that's beside the fact that I wouldn't trade for him. He's productive but he's been trouble everywhere he goes and he'd be trouble here.
There are gonna be productive FA's out there who aren't a problem and they won't cost us draft choices that we need to fill other positions with. Don't think that Marshall has any special connection with Cutler as a player. Marshall did well with Orton too. The guy is big, catches well and get open but so do guys like Jackson and Colston who come for the price of just their contracts.
Brandon Marshall = Just Say No.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Since when did this become a "Drug Free America" commercial, soul? lol
I think any of the triumverate of VJax, Dwayne Bowe, or Marques Colston (who's been the most consistently successful of all of these guys) would serve well for the Bears. The shortest one of the three is Bowe, and even he is 6'2". Even though Brandon Marshall has psychiatric issues with which I can truly empathize, he's been in trouble with the law too many times. I think Cutler might have some sway in his behavior, but the more I think about it, the more I honestly believe he's not Bears material.
