    Go Hawks.
Our defense has depth, especially on the DL (which weve pandered JA about the past few years).

Rather than Kool-aid, pour yourself 3 fingers of single-malt and just chill out a little, man. Why are you having a shit-fit over this stupid (preseason, in effect) game? We all knew the season was basically over after the KC & Denver fuckups. I was rooting for a loss myself--would have much rather moved up a couple of spots in the draft then win a meaningless game for "pride".

That being said, as meaningless as it was, we DID WIN IT. With a 3rd string high school coach playing QB, 3rd & 4th string RBs, shit for WRs, and J'Marcus Webb whiffing out there like Adam Dunn with the bases loaded. A pyrrhic victory, but a win none the less. This team certainly isn't the Packers or the Saints (esp. on O) but it ain't the Vikings or the Rams either. We all know that before the Cutler/Forte/CWill injury parade they were a better overall team than several of those now in the NFC playoffs.

Yeah, are there obvious holes at WR and OT to contend with? Sure. Does there need to be serious moves made both on and off the field? Absolutely. But it isn't a "this team totally sucks so throw the baby out with the bath water" situation.

This season was undone by a combination of bad injuries, thin talent on O, and a few key mental/physical screwups by both players and coaches. Make some moves in FA/draft and change GM/OC...this isn't reinventing the wheel here.

Excuse me gentlemen but FUCK THIS SHIT ...

first of all Flynn is a F.A.

He carrys the G.B. playbook in his head no matter where he goes.

This can be gotten if Angelo is slick. How better would he be then any QB we could get?

This from a team that went out and got ... McCown, who did ok.

The problem is we DID go and get McCown.

    The Packers got Flynn.

    The Hanie experiment is over.

When is the last time Cutler played 16 games for this team?

If we could sign Flynn in the offseaon ... another one week wonder like Hanie in the playoffs?

Or someone who threw for 6 TD's in one game?

You would have to ask yourself ... would you take a flyer on a G.B. backup QB?

    Well ... would you?

Flynn or Orton would be top notch FA pickups for a backup QB, but I doubt either GB or KC would let them get away or whether either of them would settle for being a definite #2.

Flynn has been very happy being a Backup QB.

Sooo....you think Flynn will accept a contract to be Cutler's backup instead of Rodger's backup? And that Green Bay would actually let that happen by not trying to match our offer?

Sorry to say, but if Flynn is a FA, then he is probably going to be like Orton was, looking for a starter's job and starter money.

Lets say youre Angelo and the QB you traded 2 #1 picks for has yet to complete a 16 game season.

If Flynn comes online in FA ... with the packers playbook ...

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ...
