Brian Urlacher - MCL Sprain
By Vaughn McClure, Tribune reporter

MINNEAPOLIS -- Linebacker Brian Urlacher left the field with ice on his left knee after sustaining an injury late in Sunday's Bears-Vikings game.
After the game, Bears coach Lovie Smith said it was an MCL sprain.
Urlacher was attempting to defend a deep pass in the end zone when safety Major Wright collided with him. Urlacher's leg twisted awkwardly following the collision.
The defensive co-captain remained on the ground for a few minutes then walked off the field under his own power.
Urlacher was questionable coming into Sunday's game after suffering a knee injury in last week's loss to the Packers. It's unclear which knee he injured in Green Bay.

no matter what will happen... we now need to draft a MLB. We won't know how much this will affect him. Good that it's only Sprain, but still sucks

IF ! they're SURE it's only a sprain. If it's a tear, that's tons of rehab and it'll rob him of his speed. Not to mention if he still has enough left in him to want to even go through it.
Hope they're right.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

Well, after watching the Bears lose to Oakland, Kansas City, and Denver, I opted to nap through today's game and boycotted last week's. I'm ready for free agency and the draft.

I dont think it was a tear, after they got him on the sideline and put an icepack on his knee, he put his helmet back on, and was on the sideline standing up, even hopping around a bit on it. Seems a sprain is more accurate.

Luckily, he has a whole offseason to recover from the injury. In some ways, it's a blessing that we didn't make the playoffs because of all the injuries. If we had managed to go 3-3 during the last six games of the regular season, the divisional round would not have looked pretty.
