The Firing Line
I know this means nothing and of course no one will get fired, but it is a fun way to vent.
In order of my desire to be gone,
1.Jerry Angelo
It is an NFL draft you are not performing brain surgery, don't draft guys who have bad backs, knees and look at school other than Vanderbilt and Abilene Christian.
2. Mike Martz
Take your giant EGO and shove it up your giant ASS and if you say the word system again I will punch the headset off of your giant head.
3. Roy Williams
Make your first down single towards the door and get the hell out you delusional retard.
4. Frank Omiyale
You might be a nice guy, but you are the worst player I have ever seen on an NFL roster.
5. Marion Barber
Join your friend Roy Williams on the way out the door it is similar to going out of bounds, but this way the Bears will be better.
6. Ted Phillips
Make another spread sheet you pathetic excuse of a man only NFL team run by a spineless accountant.

LOL!
I agree with you wholeheartedly except maybe for #5. I know I am going to get shit for this, but MB ran pretty damn well for us, was a big short-yardage upgrade over Chester Taylor, and is under contract for another year. He screwed up big time in the KC & Denver games but I would still have him back in TC to compete with Bell (who also had some ball security issues) for the RB2/RB3 spots.
I'd be very happy if just the first 4 happened.
Speaking of #4, do you agree now that Webb needs to take over OMG's spot and be upgraded somehow? He was a turnstyle yet again today and didn't even slow Jared Allen down until double/triple teams were added. You've been a big Webb defender and fought the good fight, but it's obvious he can't be starting at LT next September -- how can we fix this picking now in the late teens?
Asking the offseason/draft/FA personnel guru...

Lovie Smith was 7-3 with his starting QB. He's not going anywhere. It's Angelo's fault that we were stuck with Hanie.

Lovie Smith should definitely be fired. The game against the Packers was pathetic and for him to say that his offense was there but his defense wasn't makes no sense to me. 2 turnovers that led to two Packer touchdowns which was the margin of victory and a defense that spent most of the night on the field? Even I can see that's no way to win a football game. If Lovie stays how much longer as Bear fans are we going to have to endure this kind of crap football..grrr!! Bear Down!!!!!!!

Tired of being a tackling dummy......

I don't know about you, but I'll happily deal with 3 more playoff years with Cutler and Forte leading our offense. If they stay HEALTHY

Well, we got a head start on it with the firing of Jerry Angelo. That's a big relief. Now if we can just be reassured that Tim Ruskell won't be hired as his replacement....

Philips is the one who fired JA. And seeing as hiring/firing GMs is one of his most important jobs, id say he's done his job.
