Maybe Bill Polian could become a VP of Football Operations with the Bears and we could hire one of the Packers' Talent Scout Directors as GM. It's a thought.

WOW! I still can't believe it! If I'm dreaming right now, I'm going to be pissed when I wake up.

Granted in his last few years he was not as strong drafting, but he is always picking so late in the 1st round.
Joe Addai
Anthony Gonzalez
Mike Pollack
What really hurt Bill Polian was letting his son Chris take over the operation, which led to a steep decline in the draft.

Those were actually his sons drafts. If we do get Bill, we cannot have his son come with, he is as bad as JA. Bill can actually draft for the cover 2, and knows how to build an O; lets hope he is willing to come along.
There is on Mckaskey I now resepct. Thank you George!
Supposedly he has stated no other moves will be made; I hope to god that means for right now ruskell, Daryl Drake and Martz gots to get.

By " no other moves made", I think they're saying the new GM will decide on the staff...that's just my opinion

Interesting, didn't see it coming (happy it did thought).

My only concern is that we get a GM into Halas Hall quickly who is aggressive in making good draft picks and is not afraid to sign players in free agency. Hopefully, he won't let the purse strings hold him up too much.

Ruskell seems like the typical move the Bears would go with, but maybe we are turning the page with a new chairman in George.
Bye Bye Angelo!

I can't feature that Ted Phillips would hire Tim Ruskell as the new GM. That would be awkward and would really make for bad PR. Ruskell actually has a worse track record than Angelo, so I think George McCaskey and Ted Phillips will try to avoid that scenario.
