Jerry Angelo- HE IS GONE!!! WOOT!

BREAKING: Multiple NFL sources tell me Jerry Angelo will not return as #Bears general manager. Story soon at chicagotribune.com
Good News.
Update:
The club has yet to announce a move and until chairman of the board George McCaskey has been heard from, speculation will be that the removal of Angelo might just be the first in a series of moves. When business ended Monday, it appeared only the fate of offensive coordinator
Mike Martz was in serious doubt. Now, everyone’s future is in question as a new general manager could bring with him a new coach.

This could also mean good news for Forte as he may get his contract.

I think im going to start crying

I can barely type right now because my hands are shaking.
I am so excited about this happening and the fact that Angelo's mediocre draft performance was not going to be good enough for this team.
I would like to give some credit to George McCaskey for stepping up to the plate and showing more stones and a greater commitment to winning than any McCaskey I have seen. Last week there was an article discussing the new culture George was creating of winning and accountability and finally someone at Halas Hall stepped up and made a change.
I seriously doubt that Tim Ruskell will get the job in anymore than an interm basis as it would be weird to fire a guy, not let him retire, but to fire a guy and let him pick his successor.

thank you football gods

Please, God, give us Polian and a new OC...please!

I would take Bill Polian in a heartbeat as he built the Bills and the Colts into perennial
contenders with the following 1st round picks.
Peyton Manning
Edgerrin James
Reggie Wayne
Dwight Freeney
Dallas Clark
Bob Sanders
Marlin Jackson
Granted in his last few years he was not as strong drafting, but he is always picking so late in the 1st round.
Joe Addai
Anthony Gonzalez
Mike Pollack
What really hurt Bill Polian was letting his son Chris take over the operation, which led to a steep decline in the draft.
Donald Brown
Jerry Hughes
