Jerry Angelo 2.0 is interim GM while they search for a GM. No one is eliminated yet for the job.
Bears might as well forfeit the draft if they stick with that turd.

Meh, really means nothing. Also, the correct word is interim, not intern.

GM has to keep lovie on for 2012

In the press conference Phillips said that he and George McCaskey are looking outside the organization and have already reached out to some candidates through their connections.
Lovie will get no more personnel power and will not be a coach/GM.

NFL Primetime suggested people should not be surprised to see the Polians land at Halas Hall.

Jerry got his wish. He left a saboteur with the Bears... his name is Tim Ruskell, lol. Seahawks fans are laughing at us now.

As if they have any clue who the Bears are going to hire. Its all assumptions at this point.

I'd rather see a young name come in than the polians. We need someone with long term possibilities and the young polian (polian vista) isn't it. Of course I would be ok with the elder polian if Chris didn't come along.

Main problem now is that Lovie is locked for HC next season, so whoever comes in, knows that they cant find a HC themselves.
But, on the other hand, it sounds like 2012 is make-or-break for Lovie, if we miss the playoffs, then its buh bye Lovie. So im guessing whoever is selected for GM will have a wink and a nod that says wait until 2013 to select their HC if we miss playoffs again.

I'm leaning towards Mckenzie as my top choice. He knows the division, and has obviously seen our weaknesses. Since 93, he's been groomed by a couple of the very best in Wolf and Thompson. My only concern is that he's reportedly friends with Lovie and that could be either good or bad. Good in that he's going to have the working relationship in place from day one, and he'll want Lovie to succeed to avoid the bad part..firing his friend.
