True, were not gonna move up that much for a 3rd. We'd need to give up a 2nd and change to do that but with a 3rd we could move up a few spots like we were prepared to do in order to get Carimi. It all comes down to how badly you want a certain guy. Look at what Atlanta gave up to get Julio Jones.

Providing Carimi gets healthy again it would be better if Tice just put Webb back to RT and Carimi to LT. I can't imagine Webb being graded on the last 4 games this season without flunking. Pick up a swing LT in FA. At least at RT Webb didn't have the inconsistency he has at LT.

Bottom line: first or second round you've gotta pop on O line.

I just don't see Tice moving Carimi. He's fixated on making the guy an All Pro RT not and average LT and each and every time it comes up he reinforces that. I would agree that Webb has about as much talent as it takes to be a swing tackle on most other teams so we need a better starting LT but I don't think we should expect that Carimi will be that guy.

Our lower 3rd rounder can move us up 3 spots to #16 and the higher 3rd to around #15 and that's as good as we can do with on of the 3rds. Like I said if by chance Martin or Rieff fall that far it would probably make sense to move up provided either one of them can actually push Webb out of that spot year one. Otherwise we should stay put and go another direction.

So much depends on the results from the Combine and who is available in free agency that it's all just speculation right now. I would agree that a LT should still be very high on our needs list along with a #1 WR and another pass rushing DE. How we fill those needs and with who is anybody's guess right now.

And this makes #15,000 for me so I'm outta here tonight.

We would have to trade the 19th pick in the draft as well, along with a player on our depth chart, which I have no problem with.
