    WR plus TE

Watching the Saints / 49er's game on delay (record). The BEARS NEED a go to wr,and I don't mean Bennet. Not including the TE, as I see him as a safety valve. The run game can set up the passing, but you have to have a WR, that will catch to PASS most can't and a TE to open up field. Took 10 mns to type this. so BEAR with me. (pun intended lol)

The way he catches it wouldn't matter. We have blockers. But, it's a moot point. The Packers won't let him get away you can count on that.

From what I understand, the Packers are at odds as to who they will slap the franchise tag on between Finley and Matt Flynn. I'm serious when I say this. I would figure tha the decision would be easy for them, but apparently not.

They should be able to sign at least one of them before FA begins and franchise the other. I can't see anyway they let Finley go. If Flynn wants to be a starter somewhere he won't be happy with a backups pay and look to leave. If someone will give him a starters deal he's gone. Besides the franchise tag for a TE is about half the cost of what it is for a QB. The Packers aren't gonna pay Flynn $10 or more as a backup.

I can't imagine anyone paying a backup QB $10 million in any way, shape, or form. They're just not worth that kind of dough. I'm pretty sure that I saw something where the Packers were seriously considering who they were going to franchise. Of course, I could have been totally wrong about it completely.
