On another topic I thought this observation deserved some comment after I had taken full advantage of observing the above. I guess this thread is where it should go rather than starting a new one.
Did anyone else note the impact that Vernon Davis has had on the 49er's fortunes these last two games? This is the same Vernon Davis that Martz nearly ruined trying to turn him into a blocking TE and largely ignored him in the passing game.
Then skip over to the East Coast and if you watched the damage the Pats inflicted on Baltimore with Gronkowski and Hernandez then anyone who questions why Mike Martz's offense is a complete anachronism should be forced to watch the replays of those two games several more times. In fact if Martz were still the Bears OC and I was the Bears GM I would sit him down in a room, make him watch each game 50 times and then write on the blackboard in the team meeting room "I will start throwing to my Tight Ends" one thousand times.
If you look at the use all of the final eight teams made of their TE's it's really hard to see how you could avoid throwing to them and be successful. There's a good reason why Martz is retired. No one wants that tired old offense of his anymore. You can't get anymore stuck in your past glories than he was.

Yeah but she'd need more cleavage for mine to fit.

I guess you've never heard of the old cliche that anything more than a handful is a waste...lol.
Truthfully, though, I disagree wholeheartedly. The bigger they are, the more I like 'em.

I never waste any of them. If there's territory that needs to be covered I'm on it. Big and firm is good. Big and saggy isn't.
