The Ruskell Media Machine is spinning again,
Ruskell has solid draft record

Bears in-house GM candidate has solid list of draft hits

I have come to grips with the fact that it could be Ruskell. As sad as that is I have given up hoping for more right now and am in the acceptance phase.

The one thing that they cannot take from me is that they fired Jerry Angelo.

I don't get it yes Ruskell made misteaks in the past as a GM, but we all make misteaks that's how we learn. And I am sure he has learn from from his misteaks and will do better if and when he becomes a GM again. It is like every pick he ever made was a wash. He may not be the best Gm pick but he isn't worst.

The fact that it was written by Pompei is a red flag also. Typical PR designed to get the fanbase ready for it, to 'soften the blow' if it does happen. I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this.

Think the majority of Bears fans will be up in arms if they announce Jerry 2.0 as the next GM. It would just show that the firing of Jerry was to appease the fans. That's it. No major change at all.
