I just wish there were more Tennesseans! lol. I remember at one point, nerrad was asking me about a local town just 20 miles outside of Knoxville called Maryville. He said something like he might move there. I guess he stayed in sunny Florida, which is what I would've done because Tennessee is a staid, dry ol' cuss.

Jim Beam is made in Kentucky. The real deal is Jack Daniels, and that is made in Lynchburg, TN. By the way, Lynchburg is located in a dry county (Moore County). If that doesn't spell a staid, dry ol' cuss of a state that Tennessee really is, I don't know what does.

Yeah. Knoxville is about a 45 minutes or so drive north on I-75 North from the Kentucky state line.
I will say this: I LOVE watching Kentucky basketball. It's nice to know that at least one school within the SEC cares about basketball. Tennessee sucks ass at it again.

Well whatta ya' know, we've got Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett here, Bears fans.
Will you two stop talkin' about Jim Beam and Jack Daniels. Those two old coots have gotten me into more trouble than women over the years.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Glad you and at least two of your friends have found us.
We're all dicks, but aren't afraid to say that about ourselves, which usually means we can handle a little debate.
I will say one thing that may not be appararent to you on first glance, we don't have dozens of new threads a day, usually, which may be a bit of a departure from other MB's.
We will beat a thread to death, then kick it a few more times, put it in a box, paint the box, bury it, then dig it up again later for a good I told you so. Good times.

Winston Churchill:
"Since light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak."
"If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain."

Seriously though 4DaBERS, you likely won't find a better Bear site on the net than this. For the most part full of knowledgeable and fun fans. They do get into some heated debates and have widely differing opinions, but they keep it pretty civil compared to other forums I've been on. I've ̶t̶r̶o̶l̶l̶e̶d̶ visited many Bear forums in my day and this is the only one I found worthy enough to stick around on (mostly because they found a way to put up with me

). Welcome!
That's right. You have no soul, and don't you forget it! lol.

I've been married for 22 years and I have two teenage children...by definition, I am also a Dick.

By the way, I love your Churchill quote. One of my favorite Winston musing is "Democracy is the worst form of Government...except for all the rest"
