I really like Phil Emery. In my mind, Lovie is the very best option we have to go with as far as a head coach, and I think Emery sees that as well. Lovie has managed to win despite shitty talent over the eight seasons he's been with the Bears. I liken Lovie as being a lot like Jeff Fisher. He's consistent, gets the best out of his players, and his players for the most part love him (though Fisher had a lot of problems with Vince Young). With the right talent, I think Lovie will be able to compete for division, conference, and Super Bowl championships.
