With the Bears picking 19th and a number of teams ahead of them looking for WR help,
Philadelphia
NY Jets
San Diego [Depending on Jackson]
Would you trade 1[19] and 3[72] the Carolina pick to move up to 1[13] and select Michael Floyd?

Hell no! I wouldn't take him at #19 let alone trade away that 3rd round pick to get him. I'd probably take Jefferey before I'd take Floyd but I honestly don't want either of them in round one. Neither of those guys will be a difference maker in 2012 and we need difference makers. We need guys who can be play-makers this season not in 2014.
The only way I'd trade up for a WR is if I had a time machine and an opportunity to trade up for Jerry Rice. Otherwise, don't do it.
I wouldn't trade up either, but I'd take Floyd over Jeffery any day. Jeffery is smooth and does a good job with the ball in his hands. On the other hand, he has some serious issues. He's not very fast and looked out of shape during the 2011 season. Jeffery is the WR with the highest bust potential imo.
I know there are a lot of people that really like Floyd, but I would not trade up for him. Depending on what we do in FA, I could be persuaded to use #19 on him, but I have to admit, he does worry me a bit. I know that some of his alcohol issues can be reasonably attributed to youthful ignorance, but man, Wide Recievers are such Diva's anyway, that I get concerned with even the slighted red flag. I would prefer to get one of the premier FA's and then pick up another in the second round. Thats just me.
I'm not in favor of trading up for anyone, go bpa at each position. If Floyd is Bpa at 19, so be it, even if we do get a WR in FA, we are so depleted at that position a Vet and a big potential rook would still be a monumental upgrade. But you cannot afford to lose any 1st-3rd round picks imo.
I love the thought of having Floyd in a Bears uniform, but it's only a good idea if we can't shore up our other problems first. I do think we need a WR from FA, and if we can get a DE in FA as well, and all the good LTs are taken, why the hell not? Cover corners can be found later, we won't be finding a viable replacement for any of our aging players at that position, I'd take him. He'll be good, especially with our strong locker room and head coach. I just wish we could get an good WR coach...
Exactly. On the offhand chance that Floyd is the BPA when we pick I'm gonna trust Emery's judgement as to what direction to go in. He made a real good decision pushing for Roddy White when he scouted for Atlanta and if he thinks Floyd is all that and a bad of chips maybe he is.
I don't really see it and his refusal to play in the Senior Bowl didn't score any points with me either. To me that throws up all kinds of red flags about his not wanting to be measured against his peers. If he believed that his appearance could only hurt him, not help him, he's not a guy I want on the Bears. That tells me he may be a borderline pick and he's playing it safe so he doesn't hurt his potential draft position.
the only wr I really like in the first is Blackmon. Im hoping for a DE or OT in the first. I want my wr from FA then use later rounds for another body
