No doubt Rosenbloom is a critic but most of the time when he's honed in on issue he hasn't been off base. Some of his criticism of Angelo was well deserved and he hit on Lovie too for some of his poor on the field decision. He may have been somewhat sarcastic in doing it but I think he was going for "dry and witty" but didn't always make it. Some people hated his style but some of what he said was funny if only in a barbed kind of way.
But this attack on Emery isn't founded in any kind of truth except that of his own manufacture. His expectations of what Emery should have said or how he conducted himself are way past reasonable. My guess is he's not a very popular character around Halas Hall and either has no press credentials and isn't included, which means he wrote that strictly from a podcast interview, or Emery refused to give him the time of day if he attempted to question him after the press conference.
If that was the case then good for him. That tells me even more about the no nonsense type of guy he is. Bantering with a reporter who only wants to twist your words and their meaning isn't productive so Rosenbloom gets blown off and writes a scathing article about the guy. It was a real cheap shot in my opinion.
