Thread: Wait a minute ... has Jeremy Bates been hired by anyone?

It's been said and appeared in print at least a dozen times. He's not a candidate and he won't be interviewed. No explanation why we're just told he isn't on their list. Life's a bitch.

Has anyone heard any rumors if Bates will be interviewed by Cutty for the role of godfather to his first offspring?

If I remember correctly Bears staff and Lovie were turned off when Bates pretty much snubbed them the first go around and now holding that grudge.

Despite this you can't deny one thing that we've said. All we read all along is that he was not a candidate. Either he was and they kept in under their hats or he was a last minute desperation choice since everyone else was either unavailable or had turned him down. Logic would dictate that since he was unemployed and had refused to even be interviewed for the OC post before it's probably the latter. This is a step down for him.

That would be nice but he's already committed elsewhere and if he's under contract how does he buy out of that?
