Not taking time to read through the entire thread, just to keep in mind that rookie WRs and rookie QBs are more consistently making an impact in their first years, with 2 QBs and 1 WR making the pro bowl this year alone. It's not a gamble as it would've been before half the league broke Dan Marino's passing records this year and we need that big WR with sure hands. Oh, he's had a little bit of trouble with alcohol? (by his age, you'd think he'd have out grown all that). With one or two FA Wr's, and this guy, we will have 4 WRs that are light years above anything we've had since 95 and could even afford to use this dude sparingly, leading into next year. With the Salary Cap for rookies in place, there's even more incentive to take a WR.
