Thread: D'Brickashaw Ferguson is an UFA. Should we attempt to sign him?

Just think Dags, any other guy put in at LT is better than Webb then add in the chip and masking factor and the guys a pro-bowler compared to him lol.

I'll say this for Ferguson. Mark Sanchez just sucks as a quarterback in the NFL. He scrambles around and rarely ever tries to stay put in the pocket. With that in mind, it's not any wonder why Sanchez seems to get sacked a lot, even from the LT position.

Unfortunately, I don't think that Tice would want Brick. He's got too much of a hard on for Webb right now to even think about signing or drafting another LT.

Yeah Dags I don't think many would get behind getting Brick or drafting a LT high. But getting a OG like DeCastro would be a indirect way towards getting a solid LT. I still can't believe they would let Brick go.

Maybe this bears repeating. Ferguson isn't as FA. The Jets extended his contract through 2017 and by that time Webb will either be a Pro Bowler or out of the NFL. Maybe that's why D'Brick folded up last year. It's the "I got mine so I can coast syndrome" which strikes 7 out of 10 who get major contract extensions.

I'm just going by what was on that page you sent me yesterday for 2012 free agents. It clearly stated that Brick was an UFA this year. Apparently, the people on that site fucked up something royally.

I think he signed a huge contract same time mangold reuupped

Two his best years were when they had feneca playing next to him.

It sure does! This is so weird, this EXACT thing happened to me a couple of years ago. I can't remember who the player was that I jumped on as a UFA on a list like this, and the thread went on for a half dozen posts before someone caught it and corrected me. I then went back to my reference, and I was right, but the list was, in fact, wrong. I felt like such a tool and I certainly caught my fair ration of shit over it. Actually, the more I think about it, the more I think THAT was KFFL as well.

So in Dag's defense, he's not the only meathead that has been duped by these flawed list! You're in good company bruh.

Sorry Dags, I'll have to start posting disclaimers when I post that stuff.

There'll be better ones out soon. So many of those guys will re-sign and there may be more than just one mistake like this one about Ferguson. Man with an extension like he was given it's hard to see how they missed it.
