Again I'm not saying we should go get him as our 1, but he's better then Knox. It's not even questionable. You go ask 100 fans not from the Giants or Chicago and not one person would want Knox over MM; fact.
I don't buy that Ric and I have their stats to back me up. The rest of you who are all of a sudden in love with MM have one key catch in a big game. If that was Knox making the catch he'd be on the menu if he wasn't already a Bear.

I think everyone here knows that I'm no "homer" when it comes to the Bears and their players but when I see this kind of joy over a #3 WR with the same stats as one of ours and guys like Boochee Man claim that MM could would be our #1 WR if he was a Bear I have to call "bullshit". That's not even close to being true. Manningham wouldn't even play in front of Bennett and at best he's a #2.

If we had a Hakeem Nicks, and I surely hope to Jesus after FA we do, MM would be a #3 WR in Chicago just like he is in NY. If you all want another #3 WR to fit with Hester and Sanz and Knox as you guys claim then fine, sign him. Now you still don't have a #1 guy and I seriously doubt Cutler could make any more happen with MM than he can with Knox.

If you take MM out of NY and put him on the Bears, until that passing offense is fixed, he's no better than what we have and again I'll stand by that opinion and back it up with stats not the most recent emotion of the week.

That's ridiculous Boochee. MM wouldn't even beat out Bennett as our #2 and Bennett and Cruz are about head to head as clutch third down guys. Nicks is the only Giant WR who would be a #1 with the Bears. We aleady have plenty MM's and at least one Victor Cruz. We need a Hakeem Nicks and if we get one the others will all look better.

This grass is greener stuff gets trucked out every year after the SB. Last year it was we need Donald Driver or Greg Jennings and throw in Jordy Nelson too. If the Pats would have won it would be Welker and the flavor of the week TE in the draft. It's silly to think that all three of those guys could be a #1 with the Bears. Could they all start here. Yeah they could but the only one who would for sure would be Nicks. The other two would be fighting it out with Bennett and Knox. They are not that much better if at all.

I posted the comparative stats on MM and Knox and they are about as alike as can be. The only real edge MM has is in TD's but MM is not a KR so Knox stats there aren't even in this mix. Has anyone given a moments thought to the double duty Knox can provide and do it very well? I can't buy all the subjective crap about who runs better routes or fights more for the ball or a hundred other issues that can't be measured.

Mario Manningham is a very nice #3 option to have but just because he made one circus catch that doesn't make him a Pro Bowl worthy #1 WR. Man, the MM kool-aid is free flowing this week.

Both are decent receivers but neither are #1 types. At best Knox should be a number 2.
