This doesn't necessarily mean we should spend it all. If the front office is worth their salt, they are looking at current player's who may have an expiring contract next year, or any potential free agents next year. I actually think the reason we have som much cap room is because of this year's offseason.
Either way, we are in pretty good shape, and I don't think we should sit on all of that money. I've heard some fans (not saying you) that are like "we have so much room under the cap, why aren't they spending it, blah blah blah". The simple answer is that there may not be any available talent that fits the team in the current year (why over pay for lesser talant just because it's the best available) and the following year is more promising. In the Bears case, there is a good crop of WR's available this year.
