LOL, I'd forgotten about Brick Haley 4Da. Wasn't he the guy who checked the inflation of the footballs prior to the game?

Sure seems to me that Tice is taking on a big load here. I hope this OC thing isn't goin' to his head. We hire a QB coach but leave Passing Coordinator off his title (so can we assume Tice will do that too) and then we hire an Oline Coach (but Tice will still be hands on with that) and in between these duties he has to put together a game plan each week with who knows how many potential plays (probably less than half of what Martz had) and then play-call and coach from the sidelines during the game so he can be even MORE involved.

Ever heard of the word "delegate" Mike? We could look up the definition and fax it to you. Since he'll have his hands full with all of that I wonder if he'll ask them to put a mop up his ass so he can swab the locker room floor after a game too.

And Terry Shea and Ron Turner and Brick Hayley and....

Oh, I'm with ya bruh, but I just knew it would be a low level guy given the Tice connection to the O-Line. That said, just because we all knew it doesn't mean it's right, just that some of the predictability of this staff remains. This guy is not really the OLC, but the guy that organizes practice drills. He may not be great, but it really wasn't going to matter anyway. We saw how knowledgeable coaches that disagree with their superiors are treated..."Ron Rivera, there's the door, and don't let it hit you in the ass on your way through it."
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Man I missed Rivera. I have a question, How the hell we expected to beat the Colts in that Superbowl, when they had the same cover 2 defense as us? I heard that Rivera wanted to do some changes to the defense to help us win...also Sexy Rexy sucks...

The Buc OL was ranked 10th in the NFL in 2010 when they had a healthy Josh Freeman.

    Freeman is no Cutler.

If you give this guy the necessary talent, he can coach it just fine.

I was gonna say, I've seen a few Bucs games this year, and the running game did okay, for the most part, and the line seemed okay, but they really went to **** at the end. Either quit caring or just really sucked.

This hire is neither impressive nor disappointing IMO. Holt is basically just Tice's apprentice and lackey for the time being anyway. MT will be running the OL 80% just like Marinelli does largely on D.

The only move/non-move I question so far this offseason is why the hell Drake still has a job??? Probably because no one else wants a historically dead-end position like "Bears WR coach".

Other than that, there isn't much else to level legit criticism at thus far. We have come a long way in just the 6 weeks since JA/MM last roamed Halas Hall. Overall...pretty good start, now on to FA & the draft and we shall see....

Seems like he coached up some good players with TB so I'm fine with the hire as well.

They could hire Alf for all I care. You know Tice is going to be involved, either way.

Alf would definitely be a cheaper puppet.

Well, honestly I think our bigger issue hurting our line was Angelo.

You can't block without talent. Our problem is we only get star linemen. Seems Angelo would get one star linemen, then patch the rest of the line together... He did this for years..

Yeah, JA tried to "juco" the O line w/FA b/c he couldn't evaluate talent on that side of the ball.
