You could be right PB. Word was he was supposed to get a shot at SS in the GB game but that changed at the last minute. Could be because he just didn't practice well enough to earn it. The Pro Bowl wasn't a high effort game but you'd think with FA coming up Graham would want to showcase himself as a competent CB and he screwed that up again. One thing to keep in mind when it comes to possibly looking at acquiring Stephen Routt is that Lovie Smith runs more of a "Cover-1" system than a true "Cover-2." That means that one corner is playing man while the other covers in zone. We might could swing that with Routt, but I'm a little concerned about his asking price.
I'm just waiting for jackie to chime in on his "Sign Stephen Routt" banter anytime. lol
Not always Cover-1. Depends on the situation and who they're playing. Somtimes both corners are in press coverage man on man with some deep help. I think Routt may actually be a better choice than Asomugha but pricey. KC is already rumored to be sniffing around him which means they're likely to let Carr go FA. Carr fits better in a Zone defense anyway. Size and hands work in his favor.

I think Brandon Carr had four interceptions in '11. That's probably better than what Jennings had all season long. He might be a good fit for the Bears.
