Mock Draft-How Bears can acquire dream targets
This is one of several mock drafts from The Bleacher Report. I found it very interesting. No OL help but we get lots of WR help. I thought it would be fun to discuss & since I haven't started a thread on this board I posted it. I'm not completely for it or completely against it. Check it out. Dagan you might like it.

That some good WR's we'd wind up with. Thinking about Cutler with these kinds of weapons gives me a boner, and the points would pile up quickly. Mortgage some picks but the players u get would be great to build on. It would be exciting I'll say that.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

Yeah, I found it interesting to say the least. I think Blackmon is the 2nd coming of T.O. without the tude. I'm not big on trading Briggs but I would consider it for Blackmon, or Coples, NC DE for that matter. We would have to try & get some FA OL help in this senerio as well.

Blackmon proved to me vs. Stanford that he's got balls , is a hardass, and 'wants it'. A genuine football player. No sissy stuff with this guy. He's gonna be a great addition to whoever gets him. I'd trade two draft choices , two average fb players to get a stud like this any day. Those are the guys who get you to the top of the mountain. It's gonna be interesting to see If Emery is conservative or has a go for it mentality in his drafts. I'm actually more interested in this years draft than I have been in years. And trading guys isn't that big a deal to me especially when they have some miles on them.
Maybe they get lucky an a Nate Potter falls in their lap also. Some don't agree with me but he has some of the best feet of any of the LT's in this years draft. He's a little lighter than some of these knock-kneed clutzes who are rated a little ahead of him ... but that's my point. He's a better athlete than most of them and will be better because of it. People get too hung up on a guy who's 40lbs heavier, but they forget that the added weight is what makes them LESS effective not MORE.
Anyways - it would be fun to watch a truly high powered offense in Chi .

I watched Blackmon in Oklahoma State's bowl game & the guy is a beast. He just runs over & though people.
I like Potter alot too. He just needs to get stronger so I see him as a starter in a year or 2. I love the offseason & draft but this year definitely has added excitement with a new GM.I don't know if I'd know how to act if we actually had a high powered offense.

Chicago Bears Mock Draft: How Bears Can Acquire Dream Targets | Bleacher Report That's interesting, but a bit far-fetched. That tends to happen when you read The Bleacher Report. I don't know how they are on stuff like the draft, but when they report on team transactions and what all, they are usually way offline.
But, what the hell, I'd take Blackmon in a heartbeat if he was a available.

Bleacher report is a bit far fetched for sure. But is food for thought. I thought you might like the "trade Briggs for a top ten pick" aspect.

I think there would be a riot if they didn't get any OL help.

If we wind up not drafting a LT in the first round, Potter would be good competition for Webb. Potter, by dent of the fact that he's at best a third round choice, would be a more solid talent than Webb, but at the same time, scouting reports claim that he lacks the meanness to be a real force at LT in the NFL. I don't know much about the degrees of attitudes of football players, but if scouts are saying this about him, then he's going to have to really get aggressive when he gets to training with whichever team drafts him. If he has good mechanics, that's great, but he has to have some nasty to him as well, that much I do know.

Briggs is worth a 3rd round pick.
There is no way he gets us from 19 to 6.
