Meachem 5 years 25 million/10 guaranteed
Wayne 2 years 10 million/6 guaranteed
In this scenario we are still spending the 10 million on WR that we would spend on Jackson and we end up with a group that looks like
1. Robert Meachem
2. Reggie Wayne
3. Earl Bennett
4. Brian Quick [3rd round]
Also with the fact that Lovie and Tice are coaching for their jobs this season I do not think that Emery will have to tell them what to do if Webb struggles.
Tice/Webb have now lost the Mike Martz excuse.
I'll go along with this all day, every day, which then allows us to go O-Line or DE in the first half of the draft.
The Greatest form of revenge is MASSIVE success.

I can handle the Meachem, Wayne, Bennett, and Quick lineup at WR.

That would be a heckuva good lineup with future great potential. And it only requires a 3rd round pick.

I like the WR moves all around. But, unless you land Adams or Reiff in the 1st round, what exactly do Lovie and Tice do about Webb if/when "he struggles"?
Start a 3rd round rookie?
Omiyale?
Play "musical O-Line" again?
