I do not love Jonathan Martin, he reminds me a lot of Chris Williams in that he gives up more pressure than his athletic ability would entail.
The guy that I am mot enamored with is Mohamed Sanu.
I said early on that the scouting report on Martin left a lot to be desired as far as a Bears Olineman is concerned. Tice likes big and only Adams really fits that profile at OT. The rest are basically 300 lbs give or take.
Meh, as far as Wrights height is concerned. If he can run and catch he won't fall far. Sanu is OK but a bit raw. He'll need time to adjust but that Rutgers program spits out some good NFL prospects. Trouble with Sanu is he's not a mid first round pick but I doubt he lasts until the mid second. I'd say Toon or McNutt are better targets in two and Quick in the 3rd. JMO

With their first round pick the Bears select Melvin Michael Adams Glenn. Long name huh?

Now NFP has Adams )#11) going before Reiff (#13) and way before Martion who's now dropped to the 20s. But on the other side of the coin Mike Maycock is now ranking Gordy Glenn with the OT's. If he truly could play LT instead of LG then maybe we can use him. Remember, Tice wants OT's to make OG's out of not the opposite so if he can be seen as an OT that will boost him up a bit. NFP has him going around #21.

I agree with you Soul about the question marks about some of the top WRs.
The most interesting thing coming out of the Mayock rankings was Cordy Glenn, maybe he can be a Jason Peters supersized LT and Rueben Randle perhaps another option for WR in the 1st round.

I dont want adams at all. also, i really think people are out-thinking themselves on Floyd...

Mayock on the top WRs in the draft: Four wide receivers should be drafted in the 1st round: Blackmon, Kendall Wright, Michael Floyd, Rueben Randle, but not Alshon Jeffery or Mohamed Sanu.
Z-Report Says: Not really a surprise on this front. As I said in my mock draft, teams view Rueben Randle as a potential #1 WR and love his size/speed. While he wasn’t as productive as the other potential first rounders, teams realize he had QB issues at LSU he had to deal with as well as an extremely conservative attack compared to the other three wide receivers.

I tell you what concerns me about Floyd and has all along. Number one is he's not all that fast and not a downfield guy which is fine. That's not what we need. But when you combine not that fast with those reports that say he has trouble working against press coverage that's something else. He can't run and he can't get off the line isn't what I'd be looking to spend my first round pick on.
For his size he shouldn't be struggling against college CB's because when he gets to the NFL if he can't beat press coverage that's all he gonna see and the guy will be lucky to catch 30-40 passes a year. We're looking for a guy who can haul in 80-100 passes a year and I just don't think he's it. In that regard I have history on my side. The last halfway decent ND WR I can remember the Bears having was Jim Seymour back around 1970 and even he was no more than a journeyman type.
I think whoever drafts Floyd will have a huge disappointment on their hands.
