    Bears Offensive Big Board

I am wondering how people rank the offensive talent at the top of the draft.

These rankings are base on talent/value not need.

This is my big board [minus QB and RB]

    1. WR Justin Blackmon [Oklahoma St]
    2. OT Matt Kailil [USC]
    3. OT Riley Rieff [Iowa]
    4. OG David DeCastro [Stanford]
    5. OT Jonathan Martin [Stanford]
    6. WR Michael Floyd [Notre Dame]
    7. OG Cordy Glenn [Georgia]
    8. WR Kendall Wright [Baylor]
    9. OT Mike Adams [Ohio St]
    10. WR Alshon Jeffery [South Carolina]
    11. WR Mohamed Sanu [Rutgers]
    12. TE Dwayne Allen [Clemson]
    13. C Peter Konz [Wisconsin]
    14. TE Orson Charles [Georgia]
    15. WR Reuben Randle [LSU]
    16. OG Kelechi Osemele [Iowa St]
    17. TE Coby Fleener [Stanford]
    18. OG Kevin Zeitler [Wisconsin]
    19. WR Brian Quick [Apalachian St]
    20. TE Ladarius Green [Louisiana Lafayette]

I can't argue much with most of your personnel selections (I only added Criner)

    1. WR Justin Blackmon [Oklahoma St]
    2. OT Matt Kailil [USC]
    3. OT Riley Rieff [Iowa]
    4. OG David DeCastro [Stanford]
    9. OT Mike Adams [Ohio St]
    6. WR Michael Floyd [Notre Dame]
    13. C Peter Konz [Wisconsin]
    5. OT Jonathan Martin [Stanford]
    11. WR Mohamed Sanu [Rutgers]
    8. WR Kendall Wright [Baylor]
    10. WR Alshon Jeffery [South Carolina]
    19. WR Brian Quick [Apalachian St]
    7. OG Cordy Glenn [Georgia]
    18. OG Kevin Zeitler [Wisconsin]
    12. TE Dwayne Allen [Clemson]
    WR Juron Criner [Arizona]
    17. TE Coby Fleener [Stanford]
    14. TE Orson Charles [Georgia]
    16. OG Kelechi Osemele [Iowa St]
    15. WR Reuben Randle [LSU]

Okay I'll take a shot and this is pre-Combine and pre-FA.

    a) I would rank Adams ahead of Martin now. Size and a good Senior Bowl.

    b) I'd put Kendall Wright ahead of Floyd. Better speed more explosive. Better scorer???

    c) I think Quick is too high. Sub; Toon/McNutt/Jones/Hill ahead of him. Small school hurts him. More of a project 3rd rounder. I'd take him there.

    d) Ladarius Green is too high. You could throw a net over the other three. Depends on who's looking for what.

    e) Trent Richarson needs to be in the top 10.

Good job though. This is just my way of looking at it.

    I didn't add Richardson because he isn't a need.

Kendall Wright needs to measure at 5'10" and not 5'8" or 5'9".

Adams and Martin are interesting as Adams has the size and we have seen him, but Martin has been higher ranked.

Sorry Bears Board......oops, got carried away.

Scouting report says he is. Did he play in the Senior Bowl? I posted all the measurements for those guy. If he's got speed, hands and can jump like Steve Smith (Carolina Steve Smith) he could play at 5'9". I think Deon Branch is only 5'9" too. Less than that is questionable for an every down guy.

Adams and Martin have been flip flopping and so has Rieff but I still think he and Kalil go top ten. "Road Ready" LT's don't come around that often. Look at last years class. Most of those guys are either playing RT or gaining experience from the pine.

Kendall Wright did not play at the Senior Bowl and traditonally guys listed at 5'10" are 5'9" plus change.

I do not love Jonathan Martin, he reminds me a lot of Chris Williams in that he gives up more pressure than his athletic ability would entail.

The guy that I am mot enamored with is Mohamed Sanu.

With major question marks regarding many of the 1st round WRs, Alshon Jeffery [speed, weight] and Kendall Wright [height].

With Justin Blackmon and Michael Floyd seemingly locked in at the #1 and #2 spots how high can Sanu climb?

Can Sanu be the 3rd WR taken in the draft?

Can Saun be a top 20 pick?

I don't expect the Bears to address any of their immediate needs in the first round this year. We never do. I fully expect to be disappointed by whoever we wind up picking.

LOL, that's the exact comparison I've been thinking Windy, but the kid is always ranked so high that I thought I would get laughed off the board by saying so...say, your pretty smart!

I've become in-tune with the undeniable fact that Webb will be our LT of the future so long as Tice is the offensive coordinator of the Bears.
