It's not sexy like a WR pick is but it is whole lot safer and wiser IMO. If Adams falls to #19, I take him no matter what Tice thinks of Webb. If by some miracle, DeCastro falls there, TAKE HIM. Glenn, probably the same. Konz is probably draftable in the mid-20s so a trade down could net an extra 3rd round pick which we could sorely use for added depth at DB and LB. These are all options IMO that should take precedence over any WR in the 1st as it looks right now. I know that's kind of unexciting but it just seems smarter the more I think about it.
I think it's entirely possible that the Bears could trade up their second round pick in order to get into the latter part of the first round. A lot will ride on whatever we do in free agency about the DE position, but my dream would be to get Mario Williams/Cliff Avril in free agency and then target Peter Konz in the late first round to go along with Mike Adams at #19. I know that's a crazy dream, but that would solve a lot of our offensive line worries. We could then move Garza back to RG and Konz would be our C of the future.
