Free agents you would like to see
Sry if there Is a similar post to this I'm kinda new on here but ima throw some non WR out there...yes we need WR pickups in this fruitful class but who else would you want to see wearing the blue and orange I had a few ideas
Chris Avril-he rushes off the left side more effectively than right and is only 26....izzy can move to a 3 technique where he belongs and the Tampa 2 works very well with that 4 man pass rush working like there is 6 comming
Mario Williams- texans are using a 3-4 so he will most likely be gone yes this is wishful thinking that we could have peppers and a former no one pick but could you imagine it?!? Bad news is he has injuries in the past and is going to cost quite a bit but if they could sign a decently lengthy deal with backloaded pay he could ensure we have an elite pass rusher even when Pepers is gone.
As far as WR I would like to see one out of the following
Colston, bowe,Jackson (Vincent)even maybe meechem(sp) or worst case senario plax

Mario would be my favorite. Close after would be a safety that can contribute....

Gimme' Mario Williams and Eddie Royal as must hires and a BPA taller WR in FA or the first 3 rounds of the draft.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
Honey Badger Don't Care. Honey Badger Don't Give a Shit.

Give me Mario Williams or, at worst, Cliff Avril, then give me Meachem, Royal, and if possible, draft Brian Quick in the third or fourth round.

Give me:
Mario Williams $$$$
Meacham $$$
Royal or a DB $$
a backup QB not named Hanie, Collins, or McNabb $

Forget the big money DE's.
Give me a legit #1 WR, whomever that may be, there are going to be a few of them on this market. Bowe likely won't make it to the open market, so VJax or Stevie would be great.
Secondly, sign a S. It is simply the most cost-effective way to improve our team, IMHO, and this class is a very good one. Goldson or Branch would be fantastic.
Everything after you have locked up those two starters is gravy, but I think they are must-get positions for FA.

I prefer getting Mario Williams over VJax. Last I checked, defense still wins championships, and that was definitely the case in the NFC Playoffs and Super Bowl this year with regards to the Giants. A big, powerful team like the Patriots crashed and burned against the pass rush of the Giants. Tom Brady looked miserable all night in that game.

Last I checked, both teams in the SB also had high-power aerial attacks. No, you don't need a big $ WR, but our situation there is pretty dire right now and the obvious and immediate cure is adding that #1 threat, which in turn makes the other pieces there better.
Also, if we do sign a Mario Williams (legit stud) or Avril (overrated! clap clap clapclapclap) in FA, we would be dedicating something like $30M a season at the position (on two FA acquisitions, no less) in the very near future, and that's just not a sustainable practice.

id consider Nicks and cruz both top 15 Wr in the league, just after this year but we really do need a big name or at least someone with a decent name for a Cutler to ....... for a Touchdown, touchdown, and the bears are up... god i miss jeff joniak voice already... on a side note hes seriously one of the most exciting announcers in all of sports
