Tice has a knack for getting OC's in later rounds that he can shape. Not as high on Konz now. A mild trade down would garner much depth and can take some chances on a few guys but yet have redundancy if they fail. At this rate Adams could be had very late 1st early 2nd.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

It seems like that there are really no superb offensive linemen in this draft to speak about outside of the top ten. I mean, we're hearing about weaknesses in Adams now, and now this about Konz. Maybe Cordy Glenn would be the logical choice to draft to play OG for the Bears. We can at least have a good interior line if nothing else.

If he indeed shows up 265+, he would immediately jump into my top 3 favorites for our pick.

    Really like the kid.
Good to hear. The supply of pass rushers is a little thin at the top. If Upshaw can't play from a 3 point stance and Coples goes top ten, which is likely, then all you have left is Ingram and Perry and up to this point Perry has always been considered a LB.

I would be nice if he could play at 270 lbs but there are some good pass rushers who play much lighter. Mathis is listed at less than 250 lbs, Abraham 250-255 lbs, Avril about 260 lbs. If the kid can play LDE and rush like Matthews out of a 3 point stance he might be a good prospect if he eve gets to us. I've seen him going higher.

You've got Zeitler from that UW line too and he's been tabbed at both OG and OC. Tice likes guys who can handle more than one position. Don't know where he'll stand after the Combine but he was ranked as a 3rd round pick. May be a guy to take with that pick from the Olsen trade and groom him to replace Garza or as a RG if we decide not to extend CWill after this year. He's kind of on the bubble in that regard. Sox will have a better read on Zeitler I'm sure. I didn't get much of a chance to watch my Badgers this year.

INDIANAPOLIS—News and notes from day two...
ICONHilton can help out on special teams.

Georgia Tech wide out Stephen Hill measured in at 6-4, 215-pounds and said he has run in the 4.3 range but expects to run in the low 4.4 range at the Combine. He also talked about his development as a route runner and that despite him being raw, he says he understands how to read coverages and can improve in that area.

    • Interesting tidbit to keep an eye on for next year’s draft as Wake Forest WR Chris Givens referenced Florida State CB Xavier Rhodes as the best corner he faced during his time in the ACC. Givens talked about his long, physical style off the line and his ability to be effective in press man, which is one of the biggest concerns I have for him at the next level.

    • Northwestern "do-it-all” threat Drake Dunsmore says he hoping to run in the 4.5 range and says he’s been watching a lot of Indianapolis Colts TE Dallas Clark in preparation for the number of roles he can play at the next level.

    • The biggest point Florida International wide out T.Y. Hilton stressed was his skill set and ability to create plays on special teams. He said he can play in the slot, but adds a lot of value in the return game as well.

Oklahoma WR Ryan Broyles who is coming off a torn ACL said he hopes to workout in late April for NFL teams and be ready to go full tilt by mini camp in May

    • Finally, Notre Dame WR Michael Floyd talked about his capabilities of playing any role on an offense. He cited his comfort level playing in the slot, as well as his ability to play on the outside. I think this is one of the biggest assets of Floyd’s game as has the ability to win one-on-one at just about any spot on an offense.

INDIANAPOLIS—News and notes from day two...

Baylor QB Robert Griffin III measured in just over 6-2 and a solid 223-pounds. He said he won’t throw at the Combine because he wouldn’t ever throw to receivers he never met before during a game. Plus, he mentioned that the Baylor offense wasn’t nearly as simplistic as people think, as it was both number and concept based.
    ICONLuck was again very impressive.
    • Griffin’s teammate, wide out Kendall Wright stressed that he’s been working on his route running a lot during the post season. He met with eight different teams last night, including the entire coaching staff from the Browns.

    • I was a bit surprised to hear how soft spoken Oklahoma State wide out Justin Blackmon was this afternoon during his press conference. He said he doesn’t like to talk much off the field. However, he knows how to flip the switch on game day. He also mentioned that he’s going to run faster than people think and noted that he has never been caught from behind.

    • As good as Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck’s mechanics are from the pocket, he still sees ways he can tighten up his footwork and release in order to get the ball out quicker. He says the NFL game moves fast and that he’s always looking for ways to play faster. An impressive point from a guy who is as balanced and fundamentally sound from a mechanics standpoint as you will find from any quarterback prospect.

    • The line of the day went to Alabama RB Trent Richardson who said that he almost gets angry when he hears that prospects who are capable of working out at the Combine don’t, and as a competitor he feels like that what NFL prospects are suppose to do. He also added that he’s very frustrated he won’t be able to workout due to his recent knee scope.

Jesus Christ, Cordy is a freak. Said it before the Senior Bowl, but he is a big bad man and that 4.96 40 at 345 pounds is easily the most impressive time I have ever seen. Still do not see his feet hanging on the left side, but his outside shot at RT is a little bit brighter.

Matt Kalil just cemented his already top 3 stock. Should go #2, but that looks like a trade down spot.

Tom Compton looks good. I've been hearing positive things about him as a potential four spot starter. small school guy and he looks like a flexible athlete.

McCant's stock continues it's huge noseslide.

Donald Stephenson needed a good week here, and he had it.

Just curious, but who are these late round C's he's supposedly drafted and shaped other than Birk?

Also, Blake earned himself some money this weekend. It's honestly a little bit disappointing, because I was hoping he'd be there past our first four picks.

Osemele, once again, is still rising. Great weekend, moves crazy well and looks like a lock on the right side.
