Kendall Wright ran a 4.6? Wasn't he supposed to be about .2 faster than that?

He ran a 4.45 hand time which looked accurate.
He looked way faster than 4.6 and he looked good in the drills.

I'd be pretty happy if someone did overreach for him before we pick just so the temptation isn't there. There are too many good receivers in this draft to take one in the first round and then wait two years for him to develop into a starter. I hope a lot of teams overreach for some guys and let some great talents slide.
The main thing I get out of reading all that (and by the way thanks Windy that was a nice piece) is that about all these scouts agree on is where a guy went to school. One guy has Glenn as the first OG taken in the first and another wouldn't draft him in the first two rounds, LOL. De Castro is a future Pro Bowler but one scout doesn't see him in the top 20. One scout says a certain guy can play DE and another claims he can't play with his hand on the ground.
Either these guys are awfully confused or they're just trying to throw people off the trail. It's kind of comical.

Perry would be a real nice surprise to wake up and find under our draft tree. He's slotted somewhere between 10 and 15 in the NFP draft picks. I think the latest had Seattle taking him at #12. Winning that last game pushed us back quite a bit and some of the guy we'd love to have may be going just in front of us.
Here's the way I'm starting to look at it. First choice should be a DE and if Perry is the only one we like then we look at Kirkpatrick if there, DeCastro if there, Glenn if there although no necessarily in that order. Because of the depth at WR I wouldn't go near Floyd as long as anyone of the guys I listed was still on the board.
We don't need any interior lineman that badly but I just believe that you can't pass up a sure thing lineman or CB for a maybe WR. It's either that or we trade up or back to get who we want where we want. I guess Mercilus is a possibility but he's a risky pick anywhere in the first round.

If there's plenty of depth at certain positions, and we address the ones that are top heavy in the draft via FA, and trade into the 2nd if there's not a player at that spot worth getting...

On Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd: “Floyd had as good a day as just about anybody out there…I don’t think he falls out of the top 21. His bigger challenge is just to make sure people take his red flags off the field and make sure he adjusts it accordingly. If teams take him off the board, that’s one thing. But if you’re just talking to me about a football player, he’s a top 21 talen
On Georgia Tech wide receiver Stephen Hill: “Stephen Hill killed it. I had a bunch of scouts tell me before the combine this kid might blow the roof off of it and he did. The tough thing with Stephen Hill is coming out of that option offense, he’s hard to evaluate…From a football perspective, every team in the league has a lot of homework to do. He’s a hard guy to figure out, just like Demaryius Thomas was because you don’t see real routes; all you see are verticals, crosses and play-action and jump balls. You have to do your homework on this kid and he’s kind of pushed himself right up in the forefront of this wide receivers class
