Randy Moss Says He'll Play Without Any Guaranteed Money, LMAO!
Source: Unretired Randy Moss willing to return to league with no guaranteed money

INDIANAPOLIS – Randy Moss is willing to take a deal that doesn’t guarantee money, a source close to the wide receiver said.
More From Jason Cole
Randy Moss announced his comeback bid earlier this month after sitting out the entire 2011 season.
(AP)
“This is not about money for him, he wants to play,” the source said. “He’ll want to be paid if he makes the team, but nothing up front. He’s not trying to grab a check.” (How generous of him. Why would anyone give his 35 year old ass money upfront anyway?)
Moss, who announced his plans earlier this month to return after retiring from football last August, has received interest from two teams, although neither is the New England Patriots, the team Moss has repeatedly expressed undying respect for since it traded him in 2010.
If Moss follows through on his desire to pass up guaranteed cash, he is more likely to get interest from NFL teams. (He's right, probably from none to one)
“The question with him is all about motivation,” one NFC team executive said. “I’m not all that interested because I like our wide receivers. But if the guy is willing to come in with no guarantees, just a make-good contract, I think that would make some teams more comfortable, no question.”
Moss could, for instance, agree to a contract that is not guaranteed but features a base salary of $5 million if he makes a team and another $4 million or $5 million tied to playing time, production and team performance. (A base of $5 mil and up to another $5 mil in bonus incentives! LMFAO..................not in this lifetime or the next. If anybody gives even half that they're nuts)
Moss would be willing to show up for the entire offseason program (all teams are set to start in April). If he doesn’t make a team, he would not get paid. (Isn't that what most players do when they're trying to make the team? Oh I forgot, this Randy Moss we're talking about not just some mere second rate prospect. Tell me who has the bigger ego, Brett Favre of Randy Moss?)
“I think Randy would definitely go for that. He might not admit it publicly, but that’s how much he wants to play,” the source said. (I'm sure he would. Now all he has to do if find a team willing to put up with his shit. Who is his source? Randy's agent, his best friend, his mother or the babe he screwed last weekend.?)
Moss sat out all of the 2011 season after receiving little interest from teams. Although some clubs called him throughout the season, Moss wanted to play with only a handful of teams, including the Patriots and New York Jets last season.
On Feb. 13 (his 35th birthday), Moss announced his intention to return to the NFL. Moss played with three teams in 2010, finishing with 28 catches for 393 yards and five touchdowns. All of those numbers were career lows.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

If Ja was still here he would be playing along withour boy Roy. What a winning combo that won't be.

To me this sounds like somebody who needs the cash ( shoulda had himself set-for-life a long time ago ) but how many times have we heard stories about people (who have made millions) who have wound up bankrupt. It's not surprising cuz some people are just plain PATH-o-logical idiots.
Doubt it's love of the game either ( if he loved it so much he wouldn't have had the problems in the first place ).
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

IDK, it sounds like he can't afford to be a problem, and I'll take a 35 year old Randy Moss over Johnny Knox for a year.

Have him fight Roy "Mr. Mittens" Williams in a cage for a spot on the team.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

Being broke (if he actually is) and agreeing to a base salary (plus playing incentives) could be a good incentive for him to behave, keep his mouth shut, and perform his best on the field. After all... if he becomes problematic, just bench his ass and the only thing paid out would be the base salary. Structure the contract so he gets very little for signing, and a large amount for performing.... and you might have an awesome WR (who has something to prove) for a year.
All of which could actually lead to a great season for the team that acquires him.
