Wait, he said $8 a beer is okay, but 8.75 is f****ing high. WTF is this assh*le talking about?
I'm surprised they didn't mention the Cowboys $100 pizzas.
wut?
THey really could have done better with Soliders Field. Im sorry but i hate the field and even more cant believe they didnt put a retractable roof on. If they would have done that they could have hosted 2 Superbowls by now and made the city a good profit
For what they spent on that stadium, AZ built a bigger newer and more advanced stadium for less. Of course they don't have to deal w/the Chicago political machine, but still Chicago got screwed for what they got at the price.
Hey, at least they have a state-of-the-art playing surface...wait.
I liked his comments about attending an NFL game now being something akin to planning a vacation trip. When I lived in GB we could wake up on Sunday morning, turn on the radio, and listen for dozens of announcements of tickets for sale, their asking price and where the seats were located. The location isn't all that important in Lameblow anyway. There's not a bad seat in the house. Just some better than others. We'd spend about $50-$60 for two. My, my, my how things have changed.
As Archie and Edith always sang, "Those were the Days".
