Best case, Briggs has backed off his trade demand, Hawthorne comes in as a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE upgrade over Roach at SLB and gives us leverage in future negotiations with Lance.

I want a Super Bowl XX score if we face the Colts again. Revenge is sweet.

03-12-2012, 09:00 AM #106 Ben Grubbs - G - Ravens
The Baltimore Sun reports the Ravens have made "what both sides acknowledged" was a substantial offer to impending free agent LG Ben Grubbs.
According to the Sun, "all indications" are that there is not "much leeway" to expand on the offer. If Grubbs turns it down, he's almost certainly headed to the open market. Unless he finds his market unexpectedly depressed by the presence of fellow free agent LG Carl Nicks, Grubbs will likely be moving on from Baltimore.

I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

He would be a more than ideal backup!!!
