Free Agent News/Rumors
Arian Foster won’t be going anywhere.
The Houston Texans and Foster have agreed to a five-year contract extension, as confirmed by Foster’s agent, Mike McCartney, on Twitter.
To little surprise, given that the team has called a 10:00 a.m. ET press conference, the Bills and receiver Stevie Johnson have struck a new deal.

The Seahawks are reportedly scheduled to host free agent OL Frank Omiyale on Monday.
After signing Marshawn Lynch to a 32 million dollar contract with 18 million guaranteed.
One must admire the way Seattle is running the ship.
PICTURE THIS:
Marshawn Lynch takes a pitch to the right, running noticibly more ordinary than last-years contract season, Lynch is hit up for a massive 5-yard loss after starting Right Guard Frank Omiyale completely missed his blocking assignment.
Also pictured: Seahawks "consultants" Jerry Angelo and Tim Ruskell look on.

NFL.com news: Johnson disputes reports that he and Bills are near deal
Citing a source familiar with the deal,
ESPN reported Sunday night that Buffalo was close to agreeing on a long-term contract with its top receiver, and that the two sides hope to finish negotiations Monday. That is the last day that NFL teams can apply the franchise tag to potential free agents such as Johnson.
But the
receiver tweeted Sunday: "All these 'reports' are crazy, but I appreciate the positive energy. We will see what happens. No matter what I'm truly blessed."

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Chiefs have made Dwayne Bowe their franchise player, keeping the impact wide receiver off the free-agent market this offseason.
Kansas City made the move less than an hour before Monday’s deadline, even though it had long been expected. Bowe is guaranteed a salary of about $9.5 million next season, though the Chiefs have indicated they would like to sign him to a long-term deal.
Bowe could still field offers from other teams, but the Chiefs would have the right to match. If they decline, they would lose Bowe but receive two first-round draft picks.
Bowe had 81 catches for 1,159 yards and five touchdowns last season, even though Kansas City struggled with injuries to quarterback Matt Cassel and running back Jamal Charles.
Bowe had 72 catches for 1,162 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2010, when he made the Pro Bowl.

Well, it's not a surprise, but Bowe is officially off the market. DE's and WR's are thinning out quickly.
