yes i watched the games and no he did not drop more than that and actually he was second on the team in targets 63 behind knoxes 69 he dropped more than he should of yes but he also mcaught 60% which lead the team. he had 7 drops sanzy 7 knox 4 hester 5 he needs to cut those in half if he returns
yes he was 10 thin drops tied for 10th with 15 other receivers still to high but clearing up inacurracies in your stats.. look i see his probs but i also see his value

He has no value, the reason for the drops is he doens't like getting hit, if he thinks he will he gator arms them. He was brought here to be a big go up and get it WR...which he is not, and never has been. And being tied in drops w/a UDFA rookie, and 2 behind Hester while on the same team is not a sign of a great, or even good WR.
btw while in Dallas, he was in the top ten of drop %'s by wr, droping 17% of them. This past year he was not in the top 15 or bottom 15, somewhere in the middle, PFT doesn't show them unfortunately, but I doubt he was near the top.
Bottom 20 WR's in dropping the ball, You'll see your boy roy's name on there....
Here’s a complete list of the bottom twenty receivers when it comes to dropping the ball.
| Rank | Name | Team | Catchable | Receptions | Drops | Drop Rate |
| 91 | Arrelious Benn | TB | 38 | 30 | 8 | 21.05 |
| 90 | Dane Sanzenbacher | CHI | 34 | 27 | 7 | 20.59 |
| 89 | Danario Alexander | SL | 32 | 26 | 6 | 18.75 |
| 88 | Greg Little | CLV | 75 | 61 | 14 | 18.67 |
| 87 | Brandon Gibson | SL | 44 | 36 | 8 | 18.18 |
| 85 | Donald Driver | GB | 45 | 37 | 8 | 17.78 |
| 86 | Ben Obomanu | SEA | 45 | 37 | 8 | 17.78 |
| 84 | Eric Decker | DEN | 53 | 44 | 9 | 16.98 |
| 83 | Brian Hartline | MIA | 42 | 35 | 7 | 16.67 |
| 82 | Devin Aromashodu | MIN | 31 | 26 | 5 | 16.13 |
| 81 | Roy E. Williams | CHI | 44 | 37 | 7 | 15.91 |
| 80 | Jerome Simpson | CIN | 59 | 50 | 9 | 15.25 |
| 79 | Brandon Marshall | MIA | 95 | 81 | 14 | 14.74 |
| 78 | James Jones | GB | 44 | 38 | 6 | 13.64 |
| 77 | Demaryius Thomas | DEN | 37 | 32 | 5 | 13.51 |
| 76 | DeSean Jackson | PHI | 67 | 58 | 9 | 13.43 |
| 74 | Devin Hester | CHI | 30 | 26 | 4 | 13.33 |
| 75 | Mario Manningham | NYG | 45 | 39 | 6 | 13.33 |
| 73 | Santana Moss | WAS | 53 | 46 | 7 | 13.21 |
| 72 | Roddy White | ATL | 115 | 100 | 15 | 13.04 |
In dallas it was 17% of the time. He sucks, He's always sucked, He always will suck.
According to Football outsiders he caught(this past year) 59% of his passes. which put him 44th out of 94 wr's ranked which is middle of the pack, you don't resign or keep that around, you draft to replace that.

i agree in part however I still think he's pretty good and with a offseason with cutler he could go from 500 to 700-800 a solid 2 he also makes tough catches but misses afew to many easy ones . hard to pass up if he's cheap his career nums are better than v'jax who shold be are 1

I don't care what stats inc says, I saw Roy Williams drop well over 7 passes a game. Hell, he probably dropped that many in the first half of the season. Their catchable radius bullshit aside, he dropped at least a ball a game.
He needs to do something he's failed to do his entire career?
Sorry, he was tied for tenth among all pass catchers -- and all but of the WRs ahead of him were targeted at hugely higher rates, none of which caught less than 50 balls.

with all due respect rewatch the games....i just think he still has value to the bears exsp. for cheap you don't i can respect that....63 targets 37 catches 60 percent 30 first dns good blocker... 7 drops which is a bout 3 or 4 to many i do agree.

Look, let me ask something of everyone here. Is there a single other person here who doubts that Roy dropped a pass a game?
He sucks.

No he sucks. If it weren't for Martz R Williams would have been out of the league last year, and never cursed a Bears Uniform w/his pressense.

Go back to Dallas. Do not want you, do not need you, take your ball and go home. Try not to drop it.
While we are on the subject, take Barber with you. Only an idiot like Martz would see a bunch of castoffs from a sh!tty a$$ team (Dallas) and think "these players will help us out tremendously uh duh herp derp"
