Schefter: "At 4pm I expect Bears to be very, very active."
On Mike and Mike just minutes ago. Didn't rule out a run at Williams and VJax, and said they are going to be major players when the clock strikes 4 today.
I am having trouble hiding my excitement from friends and family.

Mulley and Hanly both had some kind of inside info that Lovie and Peppers were in Houston early this morning along with V Jack in Houston as well. They are hearing both could be signed today. If this gets done al i have to say is WOW!
Personally id rather get V Jack, Hawthrone and Carr signed up and with whatever is left over sign Atwoge or Landry on the cheap side. I wish we had more money for Whimbley

If we get one of them this will be a success in my books. If we get both I am nominating Phil Emery for GOD status around here.
Also how awesome is it that Peppers went with Lovie to recruit Mario Williams to Chicago. Peppers is the gift that keeps on giving for the Bears.

I know Lovie takes a lot of heat for things he does in the game, but I think this time of year he really proves to be worth his weight in gold. I truly feel his relaxed attitude and laid back demeanor and charisma makes players like him and want to play for him. I think it's something we quickly lose sight of when he starts flying through timeouts but happy to see him make some trips. Good to bring Pep too if he says no you choke him out and put him on the jet.

Players LOVE Lovie and that gets him really far.

After all of this Mario talk, I might just burn Chicago to the ground (for the second time) if we don't sign him. Well, that's a little excessive, but I'll definitely kick a Packer fan in the shin.
