Bears sign Jason Campbell!
Per Adam Schefter, the Bears FINALLY have a real QB backing up Cutler! QB Jason Campbell reached agreement with the Bears on a one-year deal.

not seeing it on espn or nfl.com yet. 1 yr deal, hope it's not worth much, b/c he's not.

I like it. I think too much money and with a one year deal they don't expect him to be a backup for long so we still need a longer term backup solution. But he is a good choice.

This is a good move. People want to talk about backup QB money, but the though of another situation like last year's final six makes having an experienced QB who can at the very least come in and manage some games and not be shocked by the experience just trying to tread water. Never had more INTs than TDs in a season, either.

Hell, I was actually excited about having Hanie as a backup - up ubtil he started playing. He did GREAT in the playoff game and I really thought we had an inside track on a good young QB for once. Then he came in for Cutler and was horrible. Go figure.
