Didn't need two mil to replace graham with a player that can't step into a starter role of a key guy gets hurt
It's over two years. A million dollars is LITERALLY less than 1% of the cap. Calling it a cap killer is ultra-hilarious. I'd rather give ST spots to rookies who actually stand a chance of playing their skill position, too, but every team has their ST specialist and we could be losing Graham and Izzy, which would suck for those units, so a new rock there is worth it.

Haven't seen the details on Weems contract yet but Costanzo is getting $2 mil / 2yrs. or a mil per year. Hard to believe Weems is getting much more. Atlanta tendered him at $1.2 mil last year. That's less than Graham made.
These deals aren't out of line for top ST guys. We may spend a little more for ST talent but look at what we get for the money. Top 5 ST rankings virtually every year. That's always been an important phase of the team.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Corey Graham won't be back because Lovie Buddy won't let him play any position outside of NB. He failed miserably at CB in the Pro Bowl when being matched up with Marshall.

I read 2 mil a year for two years if I'm wrong my bad. I still rather have a guy who can play st and in case of injury fill in for someone which this guy clearly isnt. Graham could do that that's why he is valuable compared to our two new st gems
