WR/KR Eric Weems signs with Bears
Sean Jensen @skjensen
- RT @RavensInsider: WR-KR Eric Weems is joining the Chicago Bears on a three-year deal, according to a league source

good signing. with graham likely gone and knox's status up in the air, weems is a great special teams replacement.
-
Toub is all over this free agency joint.
-
This also might be telling about how the Bears think Knox is recovering.

I hate Wasting cap on special teams that's what rounds 4 to 7 are for of those guys don't pan out

This guy is Rashied Davis 2.0 with more kick return ability. It is a solid signing and one that may have been promised to Toub when he re-signed.
Lets not forget that Hester's cap number is stupid next year so we may be getting his replacement ready.

Then you draft his replacement you don't kill your cap with st other then k and p
And if Hester needs to be replaced you worry about that next season
Mame me a successful team that does this and I will accept your take on this windy

Has there been any confirmation of how much he makes? From what I understand, he is a really good return man, and I don't know if it makes sense to have two of them on the team if you have a salary cap. Maybe the Bears think he can turn into a solid receiver.

Man, he will have to be hella good. I think the guy is only 5'9. Too me, too short to catch anything, but maybe slot.
