I don't know. I'm not a huge believer in Detroit's passing game after Megatron. The Pack is just more of a spread the wealth system like the Saints. The problem with both of those teams is that neither have a good/great running game. The Lions were competent with Jahvid Best, but that guy gets concussions like it's nothing. We have no idea how their recently drafted rookie (Leshure) will do in the big league. The Pack's running game is pretty laughable, and that works for them. Honestly, I would say that the Vikings might be just below us in the "Most Complete Offense" category.

Not with Ponder at quarterback.

He's had good games, he's had bad games. When he plays well, he looks pretty good. Heck, he almost beat the Pack early on, in his first game as a starter.

Touch your nose.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I never said Bucky Brooks says.

I resisted this joke as long as I could

Let's not get too over-excited. The NFCN is one of the toughest divisions in the NFL and there are still many holes to fill. In fact, we don't know anything yet.
I mean I'm not gonna book my flight to New Orleans before season starts. :P
Take a deep breath and chill, my friends.

Buck Brooks? Who in the hell is Bucky Brooks and who made him the NFL.com ultimate judge of talent. Must be a slow day for him and he got assigned to write something good about the Bears for a change. We go from the 3rd best offense in the NFC to the 1st just on the strength of signing one bad boy WR? Overhyped as usual.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Also, only having one top WR is going to be an issue. Bennett is very good and I expect he will get bigger numbers also, but I think we need better protection and another legit WR threat before I think we can say we are better than GB.
Although, I do think we have the potential. I think Rogers is better than Cutler (although he gets better protection), we have a better RB and now probably a better WR, but in total, Rogers has many more viable targets to cover and so is probably still more dangerous and harder to defend against.
If Greg Olsen was still here what would you guys say ? Well that ship has sailed but drafting 6'06 Fleener , a GO clone .. the 3rd fastest player on Stanford .. Luck's favorite receiver, a guy who works the middle of the field very well .... legit red zone threat to go along with Marshall. Hmmm. Sounds enticing to me and they could still get a Nate Potter in a later round to help provide depth at LT. Most won't agree but I think it's worth a serious look.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

I heard comparisons of Greg Olsen to Coby Fleener. Fleener looks very interesting, depending how free agency plays out I would be interested in him in the second round, but not earlier. He would create instant mismatches in the receiving game, still has to work on blocking but he's a pretty polished receiving TE.

Still need to fix the OL, still need a receiving TE, still need help in the WR dept, still need to get Forte's contract done.
So no...not the best yet...but we could very well get there in the next year or two.
