Bucky Brooks Says. . .
that the Bears now have the best offense in the division.
NFL.com news: QB-RB-WR trio provides Bears with potent and balanced punch
I am a homer, but I wasn't ready to go that far

Yeah, I wouldn't go that far. Considering we finally have one receiver who would crack Green Bay's top 3, I don't think we can say that yet. We also don't currently have a TE and need to do work on the line.

Forte is the reason I agree with Bucky, but only if we improve the offensive line. Forte is better than those clowns in greenbay by a mile obviously.

I second that Nerrad. Is Eddie Royal still up for grabs? Andd how much money is left?

Yeah, he's kind of jumping the gun here a little bit, but I certainly think they have the potential of being the most explosive. I do agree with him that they now have the most balanced offense with a true #1 receiver, Forte in the backfield and Cutler under Center. And, you know we're not done improving the Offense yet. There will be some sort of upgrade to the OL, whether through FA, the draft or both. And it sounds like they're looking at TE, too. Should be a fun year!

It is a rare combination to have a top QB, top RB and a true #1 WR, but I think in order to make the most of the RB, WR and QB, you need to protect them, and I'm still not convinced that we can do that effectively and consistently. Also, only having one top WR is going to be an issue. Bennett is very good and I expect he will get bigger numbers also, but I think we need better protection and another legit WR threat before I think we can say we are better than GB.
Although, I do think we have the potential. I think Rogers is better than Cutler (although he gets better protection), we have a better RB and now probably a better WR, but in total, Rogers has many more viable targets to cover and so is probably still more dangerous and harder to defend against.

Packers: Best QB (Rodgers)
Vikings: Best RB (Peterson)
Lions: Best WR (Johnson)
Bears: Best combo of all these positions (Me likey)

We could at least be in the convo w/a another move or two to shore up wr/ol and a solid draft. But you look at the weapons in Det and GB and we aren't there yet.

oh, absolutely. I think we can take the lead in terms of capability if we fill those holes. Especially if we could either get or develop someone like a Mario Williams, because then Rogers just got worse.
