McCown To Return As Bears' No. 3 QB
By Vaughn McClure, Tribune reporter
Veteran quarterback Josh McCown will be back with the Chicago Bears.
The Bears announced Wednesday that McCown has agreed to a one-year deal. McCown expressed a willingness to be the No. 3 quarterback behind starter Jay Cutler and newly signed backup Jason Campbell, whom the Bears secured with a one-year deal.
McCown, 32, started the last two games of the 2011 and performed well with Cutler sidelined by thumb surgery. McCown took over after Caleb Hanie struggled as the starter.
The Bears also have Nathan Enderle on the roster so they could bring four quarterbacks to camp.
I would imagine this means Enderle will end up on the practice squad if they do see potential in him or just a snap guy for practice drills during training camp.

Sweet! Our QB position is solid.

Interesting....
I'm definitely ok with this as he did show enough to stay, but I would have thought that we would have wanted a young development guy. Maybe Enderle was not the guy and Emery wants to leave that for another day...

Ok let see Enderle was a QB drafted by JA enough said

This is horrible. You don't need 1 legit vet backup behind your franchise qb, you sure to hell don't need 2 vet backups of anyquality.
ONLY b/c of last year was I ok w/Campbell, but McCown...nah that is a garbage move.

Personally I would have rather had McCown be our legit backup (cause he's dirt cheap compared to Campbell).
