Like some other pro athletes trouble follows Marshall wherever he goes. Despite his psychological problems and other issues I still have a difficult time seeing a 230lb guy actually slug a woman in the face intentionally. That part of the story just doesn't fit as far as I'm concerned. Inadvertently yeah but intentional, no.
Way too many people see pro athletes as a pay day and I don't put it past certain ones to create circumstances and situations where a guy is setup in order to get a quick pay day for keeping things quiet. Is Marshall capable of something like that? Yeah, if Mr. Hyde was present but as Dr. Jekyll no. His size and demeanor coupled with his BPD probably means he has a short fuse but even out here he seemed to be more a respondent than an instigator.
I'm sure the NFL will dig into it far enough to satisfy themselves one way or another but based on what we've learned so far I don't think he's in for a suspension. It's pretty tough to maintain that you were assaulted if the police weren't asked to press charges. Just the same if I were Brandon Marshall I would keep my head down and let the only place I show a high profile be on the field.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

So ...... IF it turns out that this was bs , is someone gonna be charged with filing a false police report ? That's illegal also.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

Maybe the question is was there even a police report filed? Without that or some very conclusive video evidence that he actually intentionally hit her she hasn't got much of a case either criminal or civil.

I heard tonight a complaint was filed. That = written report ( in addition to the fact that most pd's require written reports whenever there is an incident at a liquor establishment ).
Also it's more common (these days) that people will flat out lie - especially when there might be something in it for them in the end ( like kickback money ).
If it's bogus , I just hope that charges are filed - cuz that's what they'd deserve.

The whole thing just smells of someone trying to squeeze cash out of Marshall. Its not dificult to do given what has happened in his background.
