Okay, maybe I kinda overreacted. Conte is not a huge disppointment but there are more talented safeties in the draft imo.

There really aren't better FS in this draft which is why I think we took him last year even though it didn't appear to be the right move at the time. That kid had less than one full year at FS in college so in effect last year was almost like his senior year in college only he got to learn on the job in the NFL and did a pretty fair job for a rookie. He can only get better. I'll say this much. If Conte was in this years draft I doubt he'd ben around where he took him last year. This isn't a superior class for Safties. There's a handful that are pretty good and then the bottom drops out.
