If by the remotest chance we do trade Forte for a lower number one pick before the draft then I see a very good possibility to drafting a Mike Adams or a David DeCastro. To me that would be the only way to get true worth from the trade. It must be low enough to assure that we get at least one of the Olineman and one of the DE's we need. Screw a WR. We have Marshall and Bennett as starters and an assortment of others for slot and backup roles. We need lineman more than more offensive weapons. Games are one by the lines.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
Honey Badger Don't Care. Honey Badger Don't Give a Shit.
Or Marvin jones in 2 round
I think with marshal on board we can live with a wr from rounds 2 to 4

trade Forte for 1st, draft DeCastro (possible trade up if needed with our 1st + CAR 3rd), draft a DE and go with a WR in the 2nd Round.
We would be a better team + would have more Cap Space to sign other needs.

That's pretty much exactly what I'd like to see in the event of a (unlikely) Forte trade. We would be just fine w/o Forte believe me. He's not worth breaking the bank over or wrecking havoc with a holdout.
I'd still prefer to have him but...just saying the world won't end for the Chicago Bears if he continues to overplay his hand like he's been doing.
